• Brock Lesnar kicks off the show. Brock says, “God bless Texas” for a big pop. He sets down his hat in a show of respect to the fans.
He says, since WrestleMania, Reigns has been living high on the hog, flying on private jets, and eating like a king.
There’s an old saying that came from Texas: pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered.
Reigns is a hog, and he slaughters hogs on his farm every single day.
Paul Heyman interrupts and soaks in some boos & "You Suck" chant. Heyman says despite their differences, Brock Lesnar does not suck.
Heyman starts to talk, but Lesnar says, “Three little piggies went to town. Oink, oink, oink…” Is Heyman going to say something?
Heyman says we went from the greatest WrestleMania of all time to the most barbaric SummerSlam of all time.
Who would you bet on for the Last Man Standing Match at SummerSlam? Heyman says he’d put his money on Brock Lesnar.
Heyman says Reigns’ legacy has been defined by taking people out and either pinning or submitting them, but Lesnar’s career has been defined by destruction.
He says Lesnar doesn’t care if he sends Roman Reigns to the hospital or the morgue. That’s not a man. That’s a Beast.
That’s a hog slaughterer, an annihilator, and a destroyer that wants revenge on his Tribal Chief.
But Heyman will have Reigns ready for Lesnar at SummerSlam to put him down, even if he has to train Reigns to stick his hand up Lesnar’s ass and pull his heart out of that hole.
Theory interrupts and talks about cashing in at SummerSlam.
Lesnar notices that Alpha Academy have appeared at ringside. Lesnar says all the cockroaches are showing up.
Otis gets in the ring and stares at Lesnar. Gable chop blocks Lesnar, and Otis hits an avalanche. Lesnar doesn’t leave his feet.
Lesnar smiles and the destruction begins.
Lesnar then grabs Chad Gable and hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on the floor that hits a cameraman.
Lesnar lifts Otis up and hits an F5 through the commentary table.
• Finn Balor & Damian Priest are in the ring.
Priest points out that in two weeks at Madison Square Garden, Rey Mysterio will be celebrating his 20th anniversary with WWE.
Mysterio is done. He’s washed up. It’s over.
Priest says Dominik’s father has nothing else to offer him, but they have something more to offer.
Priest offers Dominik to rise to The Judgment Day or fall next to his father.
Balor says Edge is gone and not coming back because he was a bad leader. Balor says Rey is a bad leader too and a bad father.
Rey punches Balor and he and Dominik clear the ring.
• Finn Balor def. Rey Mysterio (10:15).
• Becky Lynch is standing on the commentary table. Lynch says Liv Morgan cashing in was like winning the lottery.
Lynch doesn’t need to win the lottery because she works her ass off every week for a paycheck.
Then she won a No Holds Barred match, which should have made her the #1 Contender. Instead, it’s Carmella.
Lynch doesn’t give a damn who wins tonight because she is demanding a championship match at SummerSlam.
• Carmella def. Bianca Belair via count-out after Lynch distracts Belair. The title doesn't change hands due to a count-out victory (11:50).
Post-match, Carmella holds up the Raw Women’s Championship in celebration, but Belair punches her and hits a KOD.
• The Miz is in the ring with Ciampa for MizTV. Miz asks about Ciampa’s motivation.
Ciampa says he wants the eyes of the world on him and no one has more eyes on them than The Miz.
Miz says he guided a social media star to victory at WrestleMania. Ciampa says he wants WrestleMania & SummerSlam. He wants it all.
Miz gives him one last opportunity for Logan Paul to retract his statement or he’ll find someone else.
Miz doesn’t have to look very far and points at Ciampa.
AJ Styles comes out and says Miz is a coward… with tiny, tiny balls. Styles charges the ring and grabs a chair, scaring them out of the ring.
Ezekiel comes out and says he just realized something. He’s never introduced himself to AJ Styles. He’s Elias’ younger brother.
Elias used to talk about how phenomenal Styles is inside and outside of the ring.
• AJ Styles & Ezekiel def. The Miz & Ciampa via DQ, after Ciampa punches away at Styles until the referee calls for the bell (11:30).
Post-match, Styles hits Ciampa with a Phenomenal Forearm.
• Backstage, Riddle suggests Bobby Lashley that they can watch Stranger Things because he gets scared while watching sometimes.
Lashley says he already finished Stranger Things so he’ll see Riddle later. Riddle gets in, “Remember the Alamo”.
• Alexa Bliss & Asuka def. Doudrop & Nikki A.S.H. (4:15).
• The Usos are in the ring and they don’t care who is the special guest referee at SummerSlam as long as they can count to three.
Street Profits interrupt. Montez Ford sing-songs San Antonio’s name. They get in the ring and stare at Usos.
R-Truth comes out and says he’s a divorce attorney, a certified marriage counselor, and is even certified to fly a Top Gun airplane.
But his best certification is being a bonafide, certified tag team counselor. Can we all just get along and let him counsel?
Jey Uso warns R-Truth to get out of the ring. Jimmy Uso says unless he has a referee shirt. R-Truth admits he is a certified referee.
R-Truth wants to audition for SummerSlam and rehearses counting to three. Jimmy tells him to stop being a clown ass.
Omos & MVP come out. MVP thinks Omos being the referee would be a huge spectacle. R-Truth says Omos cannot even count to ten.
MVP says Omos wants to be part of this match tonight. Street Profits & R-Truth are down for a fight.
They attack, but Omos & Usos quickly take them out.
• Omos & The Usos def. Street Profits & R-Truth (11:30).
Omos pins Angelo Dawkins for the win.
• Backstage, Seth Rollins says Riddle can’t hide behind Orton anymore. Rollins says when you play with fire you get burned.
Theory interrupts and asks if Rollins has any advice for cashing in Money in the Bank.
Rollins says Theory came to the right place and they walk away together.
• We get another creepy vignette. This one has some fresh material, including a Mick Foley flannel vest, “RKO” t-shirt & John Cena hat.
• We get a video message from Logan Paul and he will be on RAW next week.
• Bobby Lashley & Riddle def. Seth Rollins & Theory (13:50).
Ending:
Theory tries to pin Riddle with his feet on the ropes but Ziggler pushes off Theory’s feet and Riddle kicks out.
Theory turns right into an RKO by Riddle and that gets the pin.
Post-match, Ziggler superkicks Theory.
